Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist For Women

BSc HCPC MCSP AACP

About me

I am a friendly and caring specialist pelvic health Physiotherapist for women who takes a holistic approach to treatment. I am also a mum of two young children and have a passion for fitness and wellbeing.

Every woman is unique with varying symptoms and different personal goals. I have over 14 years specialist experience, evaluating and treating women with pelvic health conditions working in the world renowned urogynaecology unit at Kings College Hospital.

I qualified as a Physiotherapist from Kings College London, University of London in 2004. Since then I have worked at three of London’s teaching Hospitals; the Royal London Hospital, St. George's Hospital and Kings College Hospital where I led the women's health team there.

I have undertaken extensive training in the women’s health field. I have presented at national and international conferences. Most recently in 2023, I presented at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists on the overactive pelvic floor.

Many women restrict their physical activity because they experience symptoms such as bladder leakage or heaviness and dragging in the vagina during certain activities such as walking, running, lifting or jumping. These symptoms can have a negative effect on a woman's quality of life and well-being.

I have a specialist interest in optimising pelvic health, to help women get back to leading the active lifestyle they want to, to keep healthy and happy over a lifetime.

I am passionate about working with women to achieve their personal goals. I create individually tailored treatment programmes using a variety of treatment modalities.

I also work in collaboration with other women's health professionals to ensure optimal results for my clients for both their physical and mental wellbeing.
